Meditation has been found by research to treat numerous problems, from pain to anxiety; now, we know it also helps us address cognitive biases.
Why? Most likely, due to a combination of delay, awareness, and focus. We are more capable of delaying unhelpful intuitive impulses, being more aware of when we are going with our gut, and focusing more on turning on our intentional system.
